Proving the word quit is not in her vocabulary, Project Whiskey battled down the Delaware Park stretch on the 4th of July and won the Grade 3 Delaware Oaks in her first graded stakes start! The daughter of Tapizar out of the Dark Hollow Farm-bred Over the Moon (by Malibu Moon) is now a two-time stakes winner, having shown the same grit & determination when taking the Parx Juvenile Fillies Stakes at 2.

Trained by Butch Reid, Project Whiskey was purchased by Charles J. Zacney at the 2018 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Eastern Fall Yearling sale for $35,000 và races for Cash is King LLC & LC Racing. In seven starts, she has won three times, been on the board in five, và has earnings of $262,580.

The 2-year-olds out of Plum sure are sweet! Her Upstart filly turned heads at the 2020 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic juvenile sale, which was moved from its traditional May date khổng lồ June. Dream filly tops Maryland-bred 2-year-olds at $300,000 at Ocala June sale

The Malibu Moon filly Dream did well for breeders Dark Hollow Farm, Dorsey Brown, Mr. & Mrs. Arnold Davidov và Mr. and Mrs. David Schwaber. After their homebred won her debut at 2 and was three-times stakes-placed at 3 in six starts, once in graded company, she retired to lớn the Dark Hollow broodmare band. Of her four foals to lớn sell at auction, three have brought six figures, including her gray filly by The Factor, who topped all Maryland-bred offerings at the 20đôi mươi OBS Spring Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training in June.

Willis Horton Racing LLC went $300,000 for Dream’s daughter, who breezed an eighth in :10.trăng tròn at the under taông xã show. Willis Horton has had prior success with a Dark Hollow Farm prospect, having purchased future graded stakes winner Partner’s Hero from the Haydens at Saratoga as a yearling in 1995.

Dream’s current 3-year-old filly, Dazzle’m (by Super Saver), was not offered for sale & is in training for the partnership.
